Elliot Moore, Longmont Symphony’s music director, will be participating in a March 9 Our Town Talks event.  Our Town Talks is an engaging Longmont-specific event designed to build community and spread optimism, unity and fun in our great town. It will feature eight speakers from various sectors of our community telling personal stories from their lives centered on a theme. A mingling reception prior to the event features food provided by Oskar Blues and live local music!

The event is free (donation-based) and spotlights the goodness of Longmont and its people.  The theme for March 9 is “Home.”

Other speakers include Doug Vincent, actor, playwright & activist; Rachel Hunter, floral designer and Longmont business owner; Brian Bagley, Longmont mayor; Kiki Wallace, Prospect New Town developer; Anita Gray, Oskar Blues Fooderies co-owner; and Scott Converse, Founder of Tinkermill and The Longmont Observer.

Join the after-party at Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids to continue the conversations, the new friendships and the fun.
