Dear Patrons, Musicians and the Community,
As we continue to monitor the spread of COVID19, we know we must make difficult decisions. The Longmont Symphony is primarily concerned with the health and safety of all who attend our concerts, as well as our musicians and staff. Therefore, we have canceled the May 9 Pops concert in accordance with the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As per Governor Polis’ recent directives, the office is also closed until further notice.
As a non-profit performing arts organization, the Longmont Symphony relies on ticket sales and contributions. To better assist us in minimizing our losses due to these cancellations, we are asking those of you who have already purchased tickets to consider them as a donation. All donors will receive a letter indicating the donation as tax exempt. For anyone who wishes a refund, please reply to this email or call the LSO Office at 303-772-5796. Even though the office is closed, our voicemail is being answered and acknowledged and refunds will be processed.
Looking ahead, we hope to be able to celebrate with our community at our annual July 4 Concert in the Park at Thompson Park. This has always been an opportunity for the LSO to thank the people of Longmont and the surrounding area for their support and celebrate our city, state and nation.
